Know on which days worship takes place

Tell you that the third Lord of Chhath Puja, Bhaskar, is worshiped by the women who go to the ponds and rivers. Before this, this great festival begins on the day of Nahaya-Khaya. On the first day of the festival, the women cook pure food for themselves. At the same time, they also worship God. A variety of dishes are prepared on the second day of the festival.

In the meantime, many kinds of folk songs are also sung. On this day, fasting women also ask for vows from God. On the other hand, in the evening, offerings are made to God. This prasad is distributed to all the people in the house. Varti women also accept this prasad and then drink water till the setting of the moon. On the next day, i.e. on the third day of the festival, the dishes start being made in the morning. On this day, the first Argha is given to the setting sun. After this, even before sunrise the next day, a second Argha is given to Lord Bhaskar. This is the end of this great festival.

Chhath Decoration – Folk Songs are played

The ghats are cleaned before the Chhath festival. On the other hand, the ghats are heavily decorated before the pooja. Lights are installed along the pond or river. At the same time, banana trees are also planted. Not only this but platforms are also made for the chief guests on the ghats. A mehfil of folk songs is also arranged on the ghats. Let me tell you that this festival is considered to be the center of faith. In this way the chhath decoration is done.
